I'm standing outside a posh hotel's front lobby smoking a cigarette. I stand in the heat watching people come and go. The valets, as they do their job, are impressive. Traffic sounds mingle from off the Corniche. The humidity overwhelms before my smoke is even half way through. I notice the full moon and then turn my head as an Asian woman walks out of the hotel wearing a black mini-skirt and four inch heels. She lets out a slight laugh when the man in a business suit she's with says something to her. As they walk from my right toward the red Ferrari waiting for them, an Emirate woman approaches from my left. She's dressed in the most elegant abaya I've ever seen. For some reason, I notice her high-heeled shoes as she nears. The two women cross paths in front of me and look at each other with eyes moving up and down. Suddenly, I become aware of the smooth jazz playing from the speakers overhead.
