Scrolling through one of my Facebook groups all I see is bad haiku after bad haiku, the same authors posting 10 poems a day. They either state the obvious, use clichés, or don’t make sense. They don’t even get any “likes” or “comments,” but what do they do? They keep posting anyway. Me, I want to learn, I want to get better, and I want comments. But these haiku spammers are relentlessly posting, shooting my haiku to the bottom of the page. Why do they take up valuable space that serious writers could be using?
