Joining the Parade

Pour into the shaker one ounce of rum, one quarter ounce of coconut milk, half an ounce of pineapple juice and half an ounce of cranberry juice, shake them with ice and pour the cocktail into a highball glass garnished with a pineapple wedge. As I sip I spot a tipsy jazz trumpeter outside, swaying down Bourbon Street, and join the small crowd following him.
