If I had my way, we would dig him up, move him someplace else to rest in a forgotten grave although his memory would not fade. When we exhume the body, we would have a reunion of those this priest abused. We would see the dirt and rotten wood—the backhoe shoveling it all into a dump truck. We would place a solemn marker in the hole saying how much confusion and anguish his abuse caused. And maybe a statue of a screaming person, not as tortured as the townspeople in Guernica, but full of contortions nonetheless.
