Awakening

I believe that I was missing the point traveling through time like a train at night not concerned about the world around me or the lives of others in the distance only focused on the track before me and getting to where I needed to be but where was that and what good did it do hearing God but just listening to myself echoes of ignorance through emptiness cold shadows of mistakes always on board but perhaps this route was necessary perhaps it was the only way to know that getting lost meant finding who I was that I could come off the tracks anytime and open my eyes and live in the world
