Paragon

As a child, I could never decide on the perfect career. Then one day, I saw the maid cleaning my room. To my surprise, she ignored the dirty corners of my little chamber.

So I decided then and there to become one of the finest maids the world had ever seen. No spot would be left unclean. Obviously I would charge at the highest rates and work on a strict contract for extra work involved in cleaning up after the Diwali Festival banquets.

To begin, I took my Nimbus 2000 and flew off to my parent's room. I thought they should be the first ones to know what a master cleaner their daughter is. I broomed off each and every molecule of dust visible on mom's dressing table and threw it in the dustbin.

Well! What can I say. My mom is still searching for her silver earings.

waking to
a new dream

Notes:

The Nimbus 2000 is the one of the fastest brooms the students rode at Hogwarts, J.K. Rowling’s famous Harry Potter series.

Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring in southern hemisphere).
