When A Good Decision Looks Bad

At some points in life, you start to second-guess what you thought were perfectly good decisions. Like when you sit in your plane on the runway in Philly for two hours while your jet is de-iced in eighteen degree weather, you could start to wonder.

But all possessions stay locked in a storage pod in front of our former house until a driver can be identified. No stuff, so there is no turning back. Our van sits in a friend’s snowy courtyard until the hauler comes to carry it west. No wheels, and there is no turning back.

They say that when a good decision looks bad, give it time. Surely we’ll start California Dreamin’ on such a winter’s day. Won’t we?
