Bill Wyatt was born during World War II in England. A student of Soto Zen, he lived the monastic life in the early 1970s at Throssel Hole Priory in Northumberland before returning to his work as a gardener.
Bill was active in small press literary circles, publishing Wind Blown Cloud (1969), Poems from the Third Planet (1976), Cottage Haiku (n.d.) and other limited edition books.
