Man, is she angry! Not at me, I am just the passenger—a captive audience. She curses, calling them every vulgar name imaginable. She stomps on the gas, tailgates, slams on the brakes. I am terrified.
Pounding the steering wheel, she rocks violently back and forth, tears streaming. She screams that she is tempted to just drive into a rock cut.
When she lets me out at home, I wonder if I’ll see her tomorrow.
